Prologue 1
The
count was most pleased with his capture. He held tighter. I winced a little
while the
three men watched in horror.
“Let…me…go….” I winced a
little.
“Father!!!!”
Alucard cried out, “No!! Please!!! Don’t hurt her!”
The
count chuckled lightly as he looked up at Alucard.
“You
don’t know the source of her power, when she already shown it to you….”
the
count said as he still held me, “it’s much
different from any Belmont I’ve encountered”
“Different…?”
Richter asked.
“Yes.
And since I know how to evoke her powers, I’ll use them to fully restore my
strength to the brink I will never be defeated
by the likes of any human again!!!”
“NOOOOOO!!!!!”
Richter then unleashed his whip at the count…
But
it was too late…he was already gone along with me.
Pumpkin
Jr. looked up.
“YingGirl…”
Pumpkin jr. muttered, “you gotta trust in her. She’ll make it…” He then
closed
his eyes for once last time. He dropped the
locket, which quickly opened to reveal a
picture of a young woman…along with her
vampiric lover.
What
did it all mean? Could it be the final fight…or something that can never be
thinking
up of?
***
Prologue 2
“Awaken
your powers young Belmont,” the voice echoed, “show me your TRUE
strength…”
I
started to wake up. Where was I? The area is so dark…I couldn’t even see a
thing.
Where was everyone?!! Where the hell did the
“Alucard…”
I cried out as I looked around, “Richter? Merrick? Matt, Cother? Pumpkin Jr.?
Squeaks??”
No
reply.
I
still had my whip and the holy weapons on me if I ran into trouble. I was alone…
I
hated being alone. I was always alone throughout my life…
Then
she came.
It
was a different woman than the one I meet. She had flowing blond hair, gleaming
green eyes, and fairly white skin. She might
be around my age since she was almost as
tall as me.
“Who
are you?” I asked calmly as I looked at her.
“I’m
an old friend of Alucard,” she replied, “my name is Maria Renard.”
“Oh…so
you two must be really good friends?”
“You
could say that…” She smiled a devilish grin at me. Something told me I
shouldn’t
trust this girl.
“Like
collage roommates?” I commented while I felt confused.
“No…”
Maria firmly said to me, “I am Alucard’s girlfriend.”
“You’re
his…WHAT?!!!!!”
***
“Damn
you!!!!!” Richter said as he held his whip, “With Belmont’s blood running
in his
veins, he’ll be immune to any holy items.”
“And
also since he’ll devour some of my strengths in my girl,” Merrick replied as
he
gripped tighter on the scythe, “I’m so
sorry Joanne…I’m sorry for everything.”
Merrick
looked at the fallen mortals. He couldn’t use his powers to revive them…they
are already dead, just like Joanne.
The
bat squeaked as he flew towards his only master.
Alucard
didn’t say a word. He was thinking…how could this irritable young Belmont
already shown her power?? She still has lots
to learn….
Could
it be when the time she saved him from Richter…?
Impossible!!!
Alucard shook his head. He knows that vampire hunters and vampires
are never meant to be together…He lived a
cursed life and she’ll be nothing but another
problem.
***
I
stepped back from this woman. It couldn’t be true of what she just said.
Alucard would
probably mention her….
Maria
looked at me and started to laugh.
“Forget
about Alucard,” Maria chuckled, “he’ll never go for a pathetic insult to
the
Belmont’s name.”
“A
pathetic insult?” I asked as I looked at her.
“A
daughter of Death fighting against the count. You should belong on the Count’s
side.”
“What?”
“Join
him. He’ll gladly accept you.”
I
wasn’t hearing what I was hearing. This can’t be true!!!! It has to be a
trick. I stepped
back and look towards Maria.
“If
you are friends with Alucard…” I said as I kept my eye on her, “then you
should be
telling me ways to destroy the count instead
of joining him!!!”
Maria
started to laugh again, this time, is sounded more sinister. She floated up into
the
air as black leathery bat wings started to
form from her back. Then the darkness that
surrounded the room started to wrap around
her.
“Damn
you!!!” I cried out as managed to shield myself.
When
the darkness stopped, Maria wasn’t there. On the floor, lied a body suit that
looked like Maria. I looked up to see another
one of Dracula’s minions. She has bloody red
hair, fairly white skin, and she wore a tight
leather body suit. She had white flowers in her
hair as she spread out her wings.
I
knew this demoness from my tales of Alucard I heard from Maurice…
She’s
nothing but a succubus.
“I
thought it will be easy killing you if I try to seduce you to the dark half,”
the Succubus
laughed, “but you still believe that you can
save this world from us!! I’ll make sure I rip
your body to pieces.”
After
that sentence, she flew straight towards me.
I
quickly moved aside as I started to use my fire magic on her.
“CRESCENT!”
I yelled out, “ARROW STRIKE!!!”
I
unleashed a fire arrow at the succubus. She tried to avoid it, but it got her
left wing
pretty badly. She started to fly around
sideways.
“You
little BRAT!!” the Succubus hissed as she looked at me, “two can play this
game of
fire throwing!!”
She
then crossed her arms and unleashed almost around forty direct copies of
herself.
This was not good.
I
look around and found myself surrounded by the Succubus, and her copies. This
made
the battle definitely unfair. They all looked
at me, grinning, then all of them started to
unleash two powerful fireballs at me. I
started to run for it, but each time I managed to
dodge a couple…a brand new set of a double
dozen fireballs were heading my way!!!
I
could use my fire strike again…but it only works on one target…and I had
like forty. If I
had an attack that can wipe out each single
one of them out, including the succubus in
one shot.
I
had Hydro Storm…but that’ll do only minor damage.
Then
another pair of fireballs made a direct right at my back. I winced as I fell
strait
towards the floor…face first. But also the
impact of me heading towards the floor released
an item from me…a blue cross. It fell a few
inches away from my grasp…if only I could….
Then
another Succubus appeared and placed her foot right on the blue cross. She
looked
at me grinning.
“Oh
no…” she cackled, “We’re not gonna let you win that easily. Finish her
off!!!”
Damn!!!
I had to get ready to run off and avoid these fireballs again…
But
then I realized I didn’t have to. The succubus who placed her foot on the blue
cross
screamed. The blue-cross unleashed a holy
light at the succubus, disintegrating her
instantly. My broach started to glow a red
light as I sat up. The blue cross then floated
towards me. The other succubuses watched as they backed away.
A white light emitted
from both the cross and my broach. Each of the
copies started to scream until the real
succubus burst into flames.
When
the light ended, I saw myself standing…but I was different!! I still had the
blue
cross in my hand. I looked around at myself.
My hair was longer, even the mask’s ribbons
were long. My blue jacket stayed almost the
same but it looked different. My short white
boots were now a pair of long white boots.
Even my gloves changed, I wasn’t wearing
pretty looking gloves anymore…they were
fighting gloves!!
I
quickly went into my pocket and pulled out a compact mirror, which resembled a
Yin/Yang symbol, while I opened it and look at
my face. I had little barrettes in my hair.
Instead of looking like Sailor Moon’s…they
looked more as angel feathers. My earrings
changed, instead of wearing my gold ones, I
was wearing rhinestone earrings that looked
like the Yin/Yang symbol. The symbol on the
center my forehead looked like the Yin/Yang
symbol as the sun while on the sides it was
being decorated with precious rubies and
such.
I
placed the compact as I discover my broach around my neck, I also realized I was
wearing an ankh around my neck as well. The
broach wasn’t a plain looking heart shape
broach, it now had a drawing of the phoenix
holding the Earth, almost like it’s protecting it. Then a new set a words hit
my head.
“Phoenix
Crystal Power, transform me…” it said. Strange it almost sounded like…
I
turned around.
“Caramel?”
I asked as I looked around.
There
was no one, except candlelight. Could this mean Caramel is dead…just like
Matt,
Cother, and Pumpkin Jr.?
“Course
she is!!” said another voice, which was definitely the count’s, “Your
power has
grown stronger…but not strong enough to
defeat me.” He then started his sinister
laughter.
“Oh
yeah?!!!” I cried out, “We’ll see about that!!!”
I
then started to run towards the direction of where his voice was coming from. I
wasn’t
caring if was alone anymore. I had to stop
that count once and for all.
***
The
bat squeaked as he was trying to comfort Alucard. That bat noticed something
about
Alucard. It wasn’t soon enough that
both Richter and Merrick, who was Death all along,
turned their heads to look at Alucard.
“Is
anything bothering you Alucard?” Richter asked.
“Nothing
at all,” Alucard somewhat growled.
“My
ass,” Merrick replied as he placed his cloak on, “there’s always something
wrong, yet
you don’t want to admit it. This is one of
your habits you probably learned from your
father.”
“HEY!!!!”
“And
you also learned how to be short tempered and stubborn from him.”
Alucard
didn’t want to reply. He knew it was true; instead he tried to keep his anger
in.
Richter’s slight snickering wasn’t helping
at all.
But
there was something wrong…Alucard couldn’t start thinking about the Young
Belmont. It was almost driving him crazy!!
(Or
should it be “going batty”.)
***
I
walked towards another area. This time, it was lighter than there was in the
other room.
Candles hung onto the wall as a grand
lit chandelier was in the center of the room.
Then
I realized where I was…a ballroom!!! I had to stop and look around the
surroundings.
Even thou the Count is a dark sinister vampire
lord…he does know how to decorate some
rooms in his castle with exquisite taste.
I
started to twirl around, looking at the ballroom. Would it be cool if there were
a cool
party going on right now? It’ll be so cool
to watch the ladies dressed in even gowns as
they danced with their princes….
And
I’ll be wearing a lovely spectacular white dress while I danced alongside with
my
darkly handsome prince, Alucard. I blushed a
little. I am a girl too, ya know.
Then,
my twirling somewhat kicked my out of my romantic dreams when I tripped and fell
face first onto the floor. I then quietly got
up again, rubbing my face. I had to keep my
head on the main goal: defeating Count Dracula
once and for all. He killed off my friends!! I won’t let him hurt another
mortal again.
Reality
is a swift kick in the ass.
“Once
I get out of this hallway,” I said as I regain my senses, “the count is
going down.”
“And
what makes you so sure?” asked a voice.
My
face froze slightly. I turned around. At one of the tables, there he was sitting…Alucard?!!
No! It can’t be! I gave another look again at the gentlemen. Not only did he
look like an exact copy, he also had a familiar tattoo on his forehead. This
time, it was written “LVL 40”.
He
looked at me.
“So…”
he commented, “you’re the pesky Belmont that got rid of Doppelganger 10?”
“I didn’t mean too!!” I cried out, “He was
attacking my friend!!!’
“You call that flying rodent a friend?”
“Friends come in all shapes and sizes.”
He then got up from his seat and started to walk
towards me.
“Hmm…”
he said, “you may be an acceptable meal…but let us introduce ourselves. I
already know you are the Young Belmont, destined to defeat our powerful lord,
Count Dracula, yet you don’t know me. Very well, I’ll tell you. I am
Doppelganger 40, the most powerful double of Alucard. I know very well on how to
perform all his nasty tricks and transformations he uses against us.”
“I see,” I replied as I pulled out my whip,
“you better hope you learned then pretty darn well cause that won’t save you
from me sending you back where you belong.”
He gave out a dainty smirk at me as he removed a
set of daggers, which he threw at me. I quickly jumped back and hurled my whip
at him. He was relentless to avoid it. The whip hurled a direct hit at his face.
He quickly held it after some blood splattered onto the floor.
I
stepped back, ready to pull off another attack. He looked at me, holding half
his face. Something tells me he wasn’t too happy.
“You
pretty little bitch!!!!” the Doppelganger 40 hissed at me, still holding half
of his face, “No one messes this face and gets away with this! I’ll rip you
to pieces before I suck your vital out of you!!”
He dashed towards me, ready to take me down. What
he didn’t notice, that I stood in the same position that somewhat killed off
his brother.
“HYDRO
STORM!!!” I yelled out, unleashing the powers of the holy water once more.
The
Doppelganger 40 screeched in pain as the rainstorm appeared into the room. I
really don’t understand why vampires fear water, but this attack was sure
helpful in weakening it pretty badly. I stood by and watched Doppelganger 40
falling onto the ground, badly wounded as the rain stopped.
“Oh…”
he winced as he weakly tried to get up, “you’re a little tricky brat. But
you think you can defeat me as well as the count with those attacks? Don’t
forget, you are a servant of the count just like the rest of us because of your
estrange birth.”
“I’ll never become a slave to the Count!!” I
growled at him as I unleashed my whip at him, “You can try all the tricks you
want, but I’ll never give in!! I am destined to bring him down!”
After being hit by my whip, the Doppelganger 40
fell down dead. Strange, he said he was more powerful than the first one I’ve
encounter, but he never put up a fight. This has to be one of my easiest
battles.
I
started to leave, but then something or someone caught my eye. It reappeared
itself right in front of me.
“So
you’ve defeated the Doppelganger 40?” Akiral asked as he grinned.
“Alright
Akiral!!” I shouted out as I ready my weapon as I look at the impatient demon,
“Where’s Count Dracula? What has he done with Richter and Alucard?!!”
“He hasn’t done nothing cause they’re in his
best henchman’s hands. But as for you, Ying-brat, you’ll have someone else
to deal with.”
“What?”
The demon grinned as he threw a spell on the dead
Doppelganger 40. It began to resurrect, yet it was starting to take on a new
form.
My
very own.
A
few seconds, I was faced to face with my own double, but the only way we could
be told apart is that she had the tattoo “LVL 40” instead of a Yin/Yang
symbol on her forehead.
“Hello
Young Belmont,” she said as she got into a fighting position, “I shall
destroy you and your pathetic little friends.”
“This is going to be so much fun,” Akiral
replied as he watched.
***
Merrick
placed on the final touches of his robe. His flesh instantly rotted away, only
to reveal a husk of mere bones. He held up his scythe as he started to head
towards a direction.
“If
we follow this path,” he said, “we may get a chance to save Vanessa.”
“Why
would we take that direction?” Richter asked calmly.
“It’s
the shortest route to face the master. She will be going there, once she defeats
all his illusions.”
“Even
thou she’s my daughter, she’s still a member of your clan, Belmont. Now we
must go in this direction or your friend will be in grave danger.”
Neither
of them will argue with Merrick with his decision. Merrick was in fact the Angel
of Death, not to mention Count Dracula’s loyal henchman. And what advantage
Richter and Alucard had against Count Dracula, when Death is on their side?
***
“They’re
coming aren’t they?” Xia asked as she looked at the count.
“Course
they are,” the count said silently to himself, “but let them come. It makes
the game much interesting.”
“Sir,
they will kill you,” Xia replied as she bowed towards the count, “let me go
and get rid of Alucard. If I manage to kill him, we’ll have a definite chance
of winning.”
The
count turned his head. He glared coldly at Xia as his eyes taken a dark shade of
red.
“Kill
Alucard?” the count asked.
“Yes,”
Xia cried as she looked back at the count, “Alucard must be destroyed. If you
let me go, I will be sure he will…”
Just
before Xia can finish her sentence, the count has already grabbed onto her
throat, squeezing it tightly.
“YOU
DARE SAY SUCH A THING IN FRONT OF ME?!!!!!” the count hissed, “ALUCARD WIL
NOT BE DESTROYED!!!!”
“But…but…”
Xia muttered as she tried to speak, “he’s a traitor.”
“HE’S
MY SON!!! MY ONLY SON!!!”
“You’re
son….??” Xia face turned white.
“Yes,”
the count replied as he grinned at Xia’s horror, “those who wish to hurt my
dear son deserve a punishment….”
“Pun…punish…”
“AND
THAT PUNISHMENT IS DEATH!!!!!” After that sentence, the count quickly cracked
Xia’s neck in two. He then dropped Xia’s lifeless body, her face still kept
the hideous shock of fear, which he admired.
Residing
his anger, the count returned to his throne and calmly sat down onto it. He
smirked at his delightful new corpse. He was such in a delightful mood, and he
should be…
The young Belmont was coming soon…and
the final battle will really begin.
***
The
Doppelganger was pretty damn fast, for a copy of me. I had to quickly avoid all of my own attacks, which were being thrown right at me. Akiral watched with glee, knowing he has done well with his spells.
“Go
Doppelganger 40!!!” Akiral shouted with glee, “destroy YingGirl, the young
Belmont!”
“This is for my brother!!!” Doppelganger 40
yelled out as she unleashed a right hook right at my face.
I
managed to dodge her attack and hurled my whip at her.
She
grabbed onto it and the next thing I know, I was slammed against the wall.
I
moaned a little as I collapsed onto the ground. While I tried to get up, she
then nailed me pretty good with her black crescent fire arrows. I was almost
screaming in pain as I feel onto my knees.
“Ready
to die Belmont?” Doppelganger 40 asked as she walked towards me. She had no
mercy in what she was about to do.
“Never…”
I said as I looked at her, “I’ll never die.”
“Very well then…time to say GOODBYE!!!”
She
then charged at me with another one of my attacks. I then realized the blue
cross was glowing brightly. Could this mean…?
Whatever
was making this cross glowing, managed to make Doppelganger 40 back away. I was
then floating into the air, along with the blue cross on my side.
“It’s…it’s…”
Doppelganger 40 cried, as she was shocked in fear.
“Holy…”
I calmly whispered, still floating in the air.
“No…please
don’t it be!! I beg of you…NO!!!” Yet it was too late.
“CROSS!!!!”
I yelled out. The ground started shaking as white light emerged. I don’t know
what was going on, but I saw, out from the ground, emerged crosses with white
light surrounding them. Could this be the true power of holy?
Doppelganger
40 screeched in horror, instantly become nothing but mere dust once the crosses
touched her. Akiral was flying in horror as he realized one of the crosses was
following him.
“What’s
this YingGirl?!” Akiral asked as he was flying to avoid the cross, “Why is
this cross following me?!!”
I looked at him.
“You’ve
given you soul to darkness,” I replied, “this is a way to save your soul, by
resting in peace.”
“No…no…NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” It was too late.
He was disintegrated immediately.
I
manage to make a safe landing as I looked at the blue cross. Was I finally ready
to face the count once and for all?
Right
in front of me, a curtain revealed a staircase. Could the count be inviting me
to the final challenge? It could be a trick. Maybe I should wait for Alucard and
Richter so we can finish off the count together.
No.
I couldn’t do that. They’ll end up being hurt or killed just like the
others. I looked at the stairways once again. I must defeat him on my own. I
have to. I then started running up the stairs, never looking back. I knew my
destiny lied right ahead of me. I wasn’t afraid of chickening out. I was
ready, even if it will mean my death.
***
The
three entered a dark room. Alucard held his sword cautiously with his sword
while Richter did the same with his whip. The Guardian of Death looked around.
Then,
the room started to light up with some candles. There, on the darkly decorated
throne, sat the count.
“It’s
my master…” Death said as he started to raise his scythe.
“Father…”
Alucard replied as he looked at the count very coldly.
“We
meet again,” Richter smirked as he looked at the count as well.
“So…you
three managed to succeed in getting here,” the count said as he relaxed in his
chair, “but you will never defeat me, and your lady friend will join you in
your utter defeat.”
