Prologue 1
The
count sat on his throne as he looked at the three. He then began to close his
eyes. The three kept in caution.
“What is your
father doing?” Richter asked as he looked at Alucard.
“I don’t know,”
Alucard muttered, “just be careful.”
The count smirked
at them as he re-opened his eyes, looking at the trio.
“Fools,” he
replied.
The floor beneath
Alucard, Richter, and Death broke open, revealing deadly thorn weeds. The weeds
quickly managed to wrap around their new victims tightly. Alucard tried to
struggle, yet he failed to even make those weeds twitched.
The count looked
at them with a smile on his face.
“I don’t want any
of you to interfere,” the count said as he looked at them, “I want this battle
between me and the young Belmont…alone.”
“She isn’t
ready!!!” Richter yelled out as he tried to struggle free, “She’ll die if she
has to confront you!!!”
“Father…” Alucard
replied as he looked at the count, “please, leave her out of this.”
“I’m afraid I
can’t do that my boy,” the count commented as he looked back at his son coldly,
“I’ve been waiting for this, I’ve been waiting for decades for this final
battle with the cursed Belmonts, and now it has arrived. Finally…revenge will
be mine!!! That pesky little girl will die, and neither of you can do a single
thing about it!!!”
“Father…NOO!!!
Please!!! Leave her out of this!!!! She doesn’t deserve….”
The count raised
his hand and quickly brought it right across Alucard’s face, backhanding the
young damphile’s face. Richter saw it, wondering what kind of madman is the
count anyway. Some blood ran down from Alucard’s face
“Your humanity is
pathetic,” the count growled, “if you had no emotion for that worthless girl, I
would reconsider of joining me…but you show compassion to that worthless excuse
for a hunter. I’ll make sure she pays for the sins, which are rightfully
yours.”
Prologue 2
I continued
running up the stairs. I never looked back, and I couldn’t. Something was
urging me that I must continue. I just hope Alucard didn’t mind.
A picture started
to swirl in my head. It was the count, but he was holding Alucard!! It was
almost like the Count was cradling Alucard…like a mere child, except there was
a sword in his other hand, which was pointed at Alucard’s neck!!! NO!!! I
continued to run faster!! I didn’t care if it’ll take me eternity to get there.
I had to get there!!! Alucard was counting on me…and so was the whole world!!
There were a few steps remaining on this spiral staircase. I was almost there.
I just hope I made it in time….
***
Darkness was
starting to cover the countryside, even city areas as well. Even the false
lights, of which electricity provided, were dimmed into darkness. Everyone, who
was up around this time, wondered what was going on. Soon…this “darkness” will
become eternal…if the Young Belmont fails to bring down an evil far worse that
anyone can imagine.
***
I ran up the
final steps, trying to catch my breath. Then…the horror was right in front of
me. I was in shocked. There…right in front of me. Alucard, Richter, and
Death…were trapped in some twisted weeds.
Richter and Death
seem unconscious, and so was Alucard…yet there was blood trickling down his
face. I wanted to scream his name out and run to him to help him out…yet that
same paralysing fear started to crawl over my body. Alucard…what has he done to
you?!!!
“No…” I somewhat
muttered, “no…it can’t be.”
“But it is,” a
voice replied.
A pair of
fireballs appeared out from the darkness. I quickly managed to dodge them,
since I knew who threw them right at me. I turned around…and saw my nightmare
right in front of me.
He was wearing an
elegant eveningwear with a rubious red and black cape. His skin, almost
ancient, was pure as ivory. He seemed to stand taller then my own height, which
made my paralysing fear grow stronger. His eyes were dark red with a sinister
rage…but his face kept his slight delightfulness. I don’t know if I should take
this as a sign for good or a bad omen?
The count seemed
similar to when the first time I met him in his little mind conception game.
Yet there was one flaw in this meeting….
This was real.
There are no second chances. If I die, I’m dead.
“So…” the count
commented, “the pesky little Belmont is willing to take on me?”
I looked straight
at him; my eyes were starting to fun with tears.
“Why are you doing
this?” I asked as I tried to regain my strength, “Why are you hurting
everyone?!”
“Because you
mortals taken something away from me, and always been in my way. Now, I have
the upper hand here, which shall make mere idiots like you never get in my way
again!!!”
He then hurled
his powerful fireballs straight at me as he stood up. I managed to dodge them
and try to use my weapons. The count was more persistent with his attacks, I
try to fight back against his deadly fireballs, yet I wounded up with more
bruises than before. My attacks were useless!! The count only received minor
damage, he would even avoid them by turning into mist.
I couldn’t give
up. I started to stand back on my feet once again and try to continue to fight
him. I had to fight him...because there wasn’t anyone else left to fight him. I
continued attacking him, using a mixture of my regular attacks with the holy
magic items I had. It was the only chance I can win this.
“Vanessa…”
Alucard whispered as he was regaining his conscious.
I turned around, looking back at Alucard.
“A…Alucard?” I
weakly replied looking at him with a faint smile on my face, “You’re okay….”
The count grew
anger with rage. He hurled something at me. I don’t know what it was but it
felt that my body was being slashed all over the place. I screamed while I
slammed right into the ground.
“Stay away from
him, you B*TCH!!!” the count hissed as he kicked my body aside, “It’s because
of people like you that made my own son go against me!!” He then hurled another
attack straight at me, which sent me back slamming roughly towards the wall.
Alucard was
wide-awake, watching this in full horror.
“VANESSA!!!!”
Alucard yelled out and he quickly broke free of the thorn vines, which seemed
to entangle him. He then whipped out his sword to free Richter and the Guardian
of Death as well.
I was against the
wall, coughing out blood. My own blood was oozing from the nasty flesh wounds.
I tried to stay awake since a certain coldness was trying to put me out of my
misery forever.
The count started
to wake towards me, with a nasty grin on his face.
“If you were a
regular human,” the count grinned as he kept walking, “you would have been dead
by now. It must be interesting to be known as the Daughter of Death. A requiem
should be in your honor.”
“You won’t get
away with this…” I cried out as I struggled to stay awake.
The count’s hand
began to extend into five dagger-like nails.
“You’re
struggling for trying to fall asleep,” the count growled as he raised his hand,
“here, let me have you sleep for ETERNITY!!!!!” He then unleashed it right at
me, ready to slash me to pieces by his own fingers.
“NOOOOOO!!!!!”
Alucard screamed.
Yet the count
never managed to do such a thing. Death quickly unleashed a sickle right at the
count, slicing his hand off. The count was screaming in pain as he glared
angrily at his faithful servant.
“I’m sorry
Master…” Death replied as he looked at the Count, “I can not allow you to hurt
my own daughter.”
“You…” the count
cried out while he looked at Death, “TRAITOR!!!” The count used his other hand
to hurl another one of his spells at Death. Death was quickly hit by the
attacked, turning into mere dust right before our eyes.
We all watched
it. Richter looked at me, studying my wounds. Yet it seemed Alucard was more
concerned about the wounds.
“Richter…” I
winced as I looked up at him, “I’m so…cold. So very cold…”
“Try to stay
awake,” Richter replied as he held onto me, “don’t die on us now!!”
“I…try. So…cold,
so cold….” Alucard then gave Richter a small vial.
“Here,” Alucard
said, “use this exiler on YingGirl. This will help her recover from her wounds.
Once she’s recovered, both of you get out of here.”
“Alucard…”
Richter said as he looked back at Alucard, “You’re not going to fight your
father alone…are you?”
“I’ve got no
other choice. It’s the only way….”
“I see.”
Alucard turned
back, looking at his father as he raised his sword.
“For my mother…”
Alucard growled as he charged at the count.
“No,” the count
hissed, “for the foolish humans you wish to protect! I’ll make you will beg for
forgiveness!!”
The two lunged
into combat. It was almost like a fairy tale, watching two guys fighting face
to face. Whenever Alucard managed an attack on the count, the count will reply
back by throwing an attack more powerful at Alucard. This was insanity!!
Alucard was killing his on father. Why? Why are we destined to do such
things?!!
Richter, having no
other choice gave me the exiler to drink. It tasted funny, but I feel my body
was greatly healing after I drank it all. The wounds almost seem to vanish,
leaving minor scars on my body. I started to get up, along with Richter’s help.
“Come on Ying,”
Richter suggested, “we must get out of here.”
“But Alucard if
fighting Dracula on his own,” I cried, “we have to help him!!”
“He wants it this
way. Let’s go Ying…”
The vision came
again. I saw her once more. She was still dressed in her lovely black dress.
Her eyes were filled with tears that were running down her face.
“Please…” she
begged, “please protect Adrian, my only dearest son.”
Her
son?!!! Her son?! That would mean I was talking to….
“Lisa…” I mumbled
to myself.
“Young Belmont?”
Richter asked confusingly.
“I can’t leave
Alucard to fight his own father alone!! Someone, someone really important in
Alucard’s life, wants me to protect him!” I started to run, readying all the
weapons I had on me and ran strait back into battle. Richter tried to stop me,
yet he was too late. It looked like Alucard really does need my help.
“Alucard will
have my head for this,” Richter sighed, “that YingGirl is one excellent
fighter. But her power with the light…it’s incredibly powerful! It’s even
stronger than mine. How could this girl hold this much power in her?”
***
The battle
between the count and his only son almost came to an end. Alucard was almost in
the same position I once was before, yet with fewer injuries. He kept holding
onto his sword as he looked at his father.
“Father…” Alucard
whispered as he tried to struggle, “you will be stopped.”
“I’m afraid it
you that’ll be stopped boy,” the count smirked at him, “look around you on how
humanity treats you. They’ve left you, only caring for themselves. If you
surrender now, I’ll make sure a mortal will never treat you like this again.”
“S-surrender?”
“Of course. Join
me, and we will rule over these humans.”
I appeared just
in time. I pulled out the holy cross. If I do this attack, I’ll have a good
chance in stopping the count.
The count looked
at Alucard, smirking as he prepared another spell.
“Time to awaken,”
the count said as the threw the spell strait at Alucard, “I may need your
strength.”
“Alucard!!” I
shouted out as I started to run towards him, “NO!!!!”
I was too late. I
saw Alucard screeching in pain as he kneeled down. Darkness was swirling the
area. I watched in horror as something spew out from Alucard’s back. I thought
it some wave of dark energy, but after the fog cleared away, it turned out to
be a huge pair of leathery black wings. The bat flew in, and calmly sat himself
on my head. The bat was admiring Alucard while being perched on my head.
Sometimes I think the bat loves to come in at the most ironic moments.
There was something deadly and sinister look
in Alucard’s eyes. No…not this again!!!
“Alucard!!!” I
yelled at him.
“It’s too late
little girl!” the count snarled at me, “I finally have him under my control.”
“What?!”
“Alucard, be a
faithful son, and get rid of this pesky little Belmont.”
I backed away as
I saw Alucard getting into his fighting position. He couldn’t do this… After
all we’ve been through, he still wants to join his father?!! Why? I tried to
hold my emotions in tacked. I didn’t want to end up killing the only friend I
could possible have.
“I will…” Alucard
muttered as he looked at me.
“Alucard,” I
struggled to speak out, “please don’t….”
“Look how scared
these humans imbeciles are,” the count commented as he looked at his son,
“finish her off quickly and painfully. With her out of my way, no one will be
able to stop us and the coming of Chaos to this world!!!”
“I will…” Alucard
replied almost struggling with his words, “I WILL NEVER BE YOUR MERE SERVANT,
FATHER!!!!”
I was shocked
with those words. Alucard hissed as he used up all his magical energy to create
a spell and he hurled it at the count. The count screeched in pain as he flew
across the wall. The wall behind him shattered, causing some rubble to fall
onto the count.
Alucard collapsed
to the ground. I quickly ran to him and try to help him up.
“Father…” Alucard
cried slightly, “finally, you’ll be able to rest in peace.”
“Alucard…” I
replied with tears running down my eyes. I hugged him, almost rubbing my face
on his chest to hide my tears.
Richter had
followed us. He had looked around and noticed something.
“If Dracula had
been defeated,” Richter said as he looked at us, “why isn’t the castle starting
to fall?”
We all looked
around. Richter was right. We had finally put Dracula back to where he
belongs…yet the castle was standing still. Something strange was going on.
Then some dark
music started to play. But where was it coming from? There was one simple
answer… From the hole in the wall, there was a dark sinister black dragon that
was trying to break free. Its eyes were red as blood, scales as black as the
night, claws that can crush anything, and deathly looking fangs.
“You three would
have become my best leading generals for my army,” the dragon snarled, “but you
three have gave me no choice!!!
Prepare to perish along with the rest of the world!!!”
“Father….” Alucard winced.
“Is that
Dracula’s final form?” Richter asked as he looked at the dragon.
Alucard weakly
got up while he looked at the dimension the dragon was in.
“I must go and
bring down my cursed father once again,” Alucard muttered as he looked at the
creature, “it’s the only way to defeat him. If one of us sacrifices their life
to him, he may be defeated…yet will end up dead afterwards.”
“I see,” Richter
replied.
“I will go and
bring down, only to never bother the world of the living ever again.”
“NO!!!” I cried
out as I smacked Alucard right across his face.
“Young
Belmont!!!” Richter yelled out as he was shocked by my own actions. He wasn’t
the only one. Alucard was shocked as well. He raised his hand, trying to feel
the red mark on the side of his face.
“Is this what you
want?” I asked as I looked at him, “Sacrificing yourself because you say you’re
evil, when deep down you’re not? Don’t you care what the others will think
about you? You used up all your magic to finish off your father and you’ll die
if you fight him again.”
“Ying…” Alucard
replied, looking at me.
“So please
Alucard…permit me to fight him. I will do my very best to stop him. If my
death can save others…I gladly surrender my life.”
I got up and
started to walk towards the dimension. Alucard was in shocked. Those words…he
had heard those words before!! Those were the same words his own mother said to
him when he saw her about to be burned at the stake. The images of his mother
about to be burned at the stake were colliding with my entering though the dark
dimension.
“MOTHER!!!”
Alucard screamed as he tried to get up. Richter grabbed onto Alucard and
managed to hold down the injured half-breed.
“Alucard!!!”
Richter yelled in confusion, “What the hell is going on with you?! Come on…I’ll
get you out of here safety!!!”
Alucard tried to
break free, yet it was useless. He was so badly exhausted from his recent
battle. This was helpful for Richter; he can easily bring Alucard out of the
castle safely without getting hurt. If Alucard was strong enough, Richter could
have lost a couple of limbs in attempting to hold the half-breed down and
still.
***
I entered the
darkness. I had no worries. The dragon snarled at me, expecting to be his son
to enter instead. The dragon unleashed his fiery breath strait at me; I quickly
counter it with my own fire attacks. Angered with it, the dragon started to
lunge at me. I managed to avoid it, yet not completely.
“Little girl…”
the dragon seemed to chant, “how delightful do you taste?”
He swung he tail
at me as I felt the full force of it smacking me against the wall. I got up
weakly with a few bruises.
“You can’t defy
the powers of Chaos,” the dragon cackled as he looked at me, “everyone is dead
because of you! You’re the cause of their deaths!!”
“No I’m not,” I
replied as I looked up at the dragon.
“The only noble
thing you can do now is to give up and brace yourself for the coming of
Chaos!!!”
“I won’t give up.
All my friends are still around me, they believed I will make it and place
their hopes and dreams with me. So if I give up now…then I’m giving up on my
friends…and that’s how they truly die. So I’ll never give up.”
“Foolish girl!!!
You dare talked such nonsense in front of my presence?!!!”
“I feel sorry for
you. You lived for centuries and still can’t understand the family
you've been fighting. I may
not be one hell of a fighter, but I believe in myself and I will defeat you.
Agent of Hope-YingGirl, Senshi for Hire, will punish you!!!!”
The dragon hissed
out loud as he swung his tail around. I tried to avoid it, but got a nasty
slashed from his claws. This was almost as a typical David verses Goliath
thing…except Goliath was a huge black dragon with powerful attacks that could
kick David around any day of the week.
The battle raged
on between us. I had to use all the holy weapons and attacks I know of to take
care of this demonic dragon. It was the only way to stop him, yet his attacks
seem stronger then mine.
“The accursed
light,” the dragon wheezed as he glared at me, “it’s growing stronger. I must
destroy it before if is ever awaken!!!”
“Accursed light?”
I asked as I looked at the creature, “what light is that?”
The dragon glared
at me again.
“I WILL NOT BE
DESTROYED BY THE LIKES OF YOU!!!!” the dragon howled as he unleashed his fiery
rage strait at me. I winced in pain as practically all my skin was burning to a
crisp. I still wonder why I couldn’t destroy him.
“Phoenix
Crystal…Power,” a voice seemed to whisper at me.
Was that that
supposed to mean? I stood up as I closed my eyes. I felt something; it was an
urging power that was glowing in me. I then re-opened to notice a crystal had
emerged from my heart locket. The black dragon that seemed so powerful was
almost backing away.
“The accursed
light!!!” it yelled out, “Must be destroyed!!!!” The dragon threw another
fierce fire attack at me.
I had no other
choice…I had to say those words if I’m ever going to stop him.
“PHOENIX…CRYSTAL...POWER!!!!!” I screamed out as the crystal was
omitting a white light. It felt like I was doing a Holy Cross attack, except
more powerful.
“No….” the dragon
snared, “NOOOOO!!!!”
“For all those
that died in protecting this planet and those who still do…we will defeat you!!!!”
The ray of light
headed strait towards the dragon. I
heard its horrid screeching as the white light was ripping its body to pieces.
The light was going though the entire castle, slashing it to bits as well.
“Defeated…” the
dragon yelled out, “defeated by a mere girl!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!”
The dragon fell
down dead, hacked into pieces. I didn’t want this to happen, but I had to do
it. A cold feeling came onto me as I fell onto the ground.
The castle itself
collapsed.
***
The sun was rising
in the blue skies. It shined upon the forest, giving vibrant life to the tree
and the plants. It was also shining upon whatever remained of the hideous dark
castle that was finally banished. It looked like a castle of ruins. What could
have been hiding within such ruins?
Yet it kept the
attention of two gentlemen.
“S-s-she…”
Richter stuttered as he looked at the area.
“If you help
looking for her than being petrified,” Alucard growled at Richter, “then maybe
we’ll have a good chance of finding her in these ruins!!!”
“I’m sorry
Alucard. It’s just this is the first time I actually do see a member
sacrificing everything just to save this world.”
“Hmm…when I first
met her, I thought she was another show-off vampire slayer, but she surely
knows how to change her point of views of things.”
“She had matured
for her age, yet still stays as innocent as a child. It must been hard to find
out she had no parents, now she lost her only friends because of him.”
“I just hope now
he may forever rest in peace for his sins...but why did YingGirl had to
sacrifice her life? Why?!”
“Maybe because
Ying wanted you to live because she thought you were important to her.”
“Important to
her? I tried two kill her twice!!! How can she think I’m important to her?”
“I don’t know…”
Richter sighed as he looked around the area. There wasn’t a chance that anyone
could survive after this…yet you may never know, until you may see the proof.
Then another
figured appeared. Alucard and Richter turned around to see who it was. It
turned out to be the Master Librarian. He was walking towards the too.
“Excuse me,” the
Librarian asked as he looked at the two gentlemen, “are you looking for
YingGirl?”
“Did you say…?”
Richter started to ask, almost excited to hear those words.
“Y-YingGirl?” Alucard commented.
“Of course Master
Alucard,” the Librarian said, “it was a good thing your bat familiar had found
another library card or your friend could have been dead by now. She was very
kind when I first met her; she even paid off for the email I have sent you. I
decided I should repay her back…”
“How did you
repay her back?”
“Why don’t you
see you yourself?”
Both Richter and
Alucard watched to see another figure heading towards them. I was walking
towards them. My clothing was tattered and some bruises I had were wrapped in
bandages. I felt a bit dazed, but still conscious of what was going on.
“Did I…” I tried
to muttered at I looked at them, “get him?”
“You’ve done very
well,” Richter replied with a grin on his face, “for anyone your age.”
The bat familiar
was squeaking lightly as he fluttered back to Alucard. The librarian looked at
them once again.
“I had some help
as well,” the Librarian commented.
“You did??” I
asked as I looked at him.
“Hey Yingy,” a
voice cried out, “don’t forget about us!!!”
I knew that voice
from anywhere. I turned around and saw my old friends right in front of me.
Matt, Cother, and Pumpkin Jr. were right in front of me, smiling.
“It has to be a
dream…” I cried out as I looked at him.
“No dream,” Matt
said as he smirked, “we are here, thanks to you.”
“You defeated the
count with your beliefs,” Cother replied as she smiled, “you’ve done well.”
Pumpkin Jr. ran
up to Alucard.
“Sir,” Pumpkin
Jr. said as he calmly placed the gold locket in Alucard’s hands, “a young lady
wanted me to give you this.”
“Thank you small
one,” Alucard replied as he patted Pumpkin Jr.’s head.
“Don’t mention
it.”
“I don’t believe
this,” Matt cried out as he looked around, “a bunch of teenagers manage to
bring down the greatest evil known to man.”
“Yeah,” Cother
replied as she wrapped her arms around Matt, “but no one knows about it.”
“That’s true.”
I started to
look up at the skies while some friends started to get to know each other. I
started to wonder. I know I’m supposed to be celebrating…but I just killed a
man! And he’ll just resurrect himself and his dark powers a hundred years
later…so even though the battle is over, it has just begin.
Maybe one day
that bad man will rest in peace…but until that day comes, I have to face the
fact I’m the next one to keep that man from not turning this planet into a
world of chaos. I’ll be ready for it…I know I have to be ready for it.
Alucard looked
at me, almost as he was feeling concerned about mer. Nah…that can never
happened. I mean, he tried to kill me…and I’ll bet you he’ll just head back to
his slumber.
***
Eprologue-A few days later.
I was back in
another day of collage. It didn’t bother me one bit except the fact that
everyone else was living his or her normal lives when such a horrid tragedy was
set to rest. I guess we all dream for a better future that we try to hide the
dangers that we’re causing.
I calmly walked
down the hallways. There were people everywhere, perhaps there was something
going on such as a comedy show or a musical performance. I started to head
towards one of the local clubs. Some people over at the club would like a brief
explanation about why I wasn’t around.
Oh yeah…like
they’re really going to believe that this semi-outcast went across Europe to
slay a dreadful vampire king who tried to take over the world.
Sometimes, lies
are better than the truth.
“Vanessa,” Eric
said while he was on his chair, “you’ve been gone for a week.”
“Vanessa,” Dora
asked as she looked at me, “what happened to you?”
I tried to hide
my bruises and my broken arm. I didn’t want to tell them the horrid truth of
how I’ve got them.
“I…I…” I started
to mumble out, “fell down the stairs.”
“I never knew
falling down the stairs can lead to those injuries,” Dora commented as she
still kept an eye of me, “but I never did fall down the stairs and ended up
with those bruises.”
“I have a fragile
structure.”
“Oh…I see.”
I gave a weak
smile at them to show that I was all right. But I wasn’t all right. I just
faced the greatest horror known to man…
And I’ve lost a
chance of being forever immortalized.
I guess it’s my
choice. We’re all meant to die and live such miserable lives, hoping for the
best. Not anymore! For now on, I want to help people! I’m sick and tired
thinking about myself, and if I still end up going to hell for killing this
sick twisted vampire king…then I’m sorry, I’m so sorry!!!!
I then started
crying. Eric and Dora wondered what had happened. I just realized that all we
believe in is nothing but some higher authority of a child’s game!! There’s no
sanctuary for us!!! We’re only mere puppets of someone’s game.
I wish someone
would come and ridicule me with bullets…something that could get me away from
it all…away from everything!!
I kept on crying,
wanting to die or perhaps come a mere entity to watch how pitiful each of our
lives are.
Then he walked
into the room.
“Is something
wrong?” he asked.
Eric looked at
him.
“No,” Eric
replied, “she started crying…”
He came closer,
wrapping an arm around my neck. I don’t know what happened, all my crying
seemed to stop…like my body became paralysed.
It couldn’t be. I
looked up, noticing a familiar face.
“Say Vanessa,”
Dora smirked at the gentleman, “who’s your friend?”
“My name is
Adrian,” Adrian replied as he hugged onto me, “I’ve met her just recently.”
“Ooooh…” Dora and
Eric replied as they both looked at me
“Wait!!” I cried
out, “He’s not what you think he is!!!”
“Don’t worry,”
Eric commented, “your secret is safe with us.”
It’s okay to have
a boyfriend Vanessa,” Dora replied.
A-a…boyfriend? My
face began to fluster a shade of red. I can’t believe what Dora said about
Adrian and me!!! I just can’t believe it. I felt so deeply embarrassed.
Then I found out
I wasn’t the only one turning red…Adrian had a reddish complexion on his
cheeks!!!
Someone else came
by, hearing this as well.
“What?!!!”
Richter yelled out as he looked at all of us, “Adrian and Vanessa are
lovers?!!!”
“That’s not
true!!!” I replied.
“Perhaps we are…”
Adrian suggested as he hugged onto me.
I looked at him.
“Adrian,” I
whispered, “you’re a 400 year old damphire. Why are you doing here in collage?
I thought you were going to rest for who knows how long.”
“I thought so
too…” Adrian whispered back, “yet some of my father’s minions have not been
defeated.”
“What?”
“If my father was
truly defeated…I will surely be at my rest and Richter wouldn’t be here. Since
none of us are gone, my father’s minions are lurking around somewhere, perhaps
re-awaking their master once more.”
“Damn, just when
we’ve defeated him….”
“Now, you’re
acting like a true vampire hunter!”
“I am?”
Richter started
to laugh slightly; Adrian also joined him into the laughing as well. I was
confused about why they were laughing…but maybe we all need a good laugh to
brighten our hopes.
I’m just glad I’m
